Dear Click Customer,

We would like to announce an update to ClickMobile Touch for Field Service Edge on iOS, Android & Windows that has been made available for download in the mobile app stores. Here are the releases:

Android - Version 20.5.9
iOS - Version 20.5.11
Windows - Version 20.5.18

What has changed in this release?
=======================

[Android] - SQLite support
[All platforms] - Added Google Authenticator functionality
[Win] - Polyfill fix for missing map markers on Powermap Win10App view

*MANDATORY ACTION FOR ANDROID USERS ONLY*

Android-specific change requirement:
=============================
We want to inform you of a required update to the ClickMobile Touch app, for Click Field Service Edge, *on Android*, that will roll out on the following dates:

* Sandbox: March 5th
* Production: March 10th

Why was the update implemented?
========================

Google is deprecating WebSQL on Android devices, as of March 15th, and a new local database is required.

What has changed in this release?
=======================

Salesforce replaced WebSQL with SQLite in ClickMobile 20.5.9 and is now setting the app to actively use the new local DB by utilizing MR17 hotfix.

What is required from the users?
======================

*All Android* users must use the latest ClickMobile app 20.5.9 version, available from the Google Play store since January 18.
Users already on ClickMobile app 20.5.9, only need to log out and log back in for the changes to take effect.
If MDM is in use, ensure that the ClickMobile app version on your organization’s Google Play store is 20.5.9.

What will happen if the app is not upgraded in time?
===================================

Users on older versions of the ClickMobile app on Android will be unable to see any data or information due to the change introduced by Google.

Important dates:
============

* March 5th - Sandbox deployment
* March 10th - Production deployment - All users must be on the latest ClickMobile app 20.5.9
* March 15th - Google releases the latest Chrome version that deprecates the old WebSQL DB - Any user
with an older app version will not be able to use the app.

Thank You,
Click Support
