Dear Customer,
We would like to inform you that Twilio’s text messaging service will be decommissioned from Field Service Edge when we roll out Fuji MR21. Customers must have finished the transition from Twilio’s text messaging services to Google Authenticator, and we would like to share this notification a month in advance to ensure that you are fully aware of the process and the dates.
On April 30, upon the completion of Fuji MR21 feature toggling on in the Sandbox environment:
1. A designated feature, toggled on April 30 in each region, will enforce all MFA notifications to be sent via Google Authenticator (i.e. the admin user won’t be able to change the configuration and revert back to Twilio services beyond this point).
2. The only exception is for customers who are using the Field Service Edge mobile app, as this app isn't enabled to use Google Authenticator. These customers will be able to continue to use Twilio's services for the time being.
3. The dates for us to complete the transition are:
1. Sandbox: May 4, 2025
2. Production: June 1, 2025
4. If you require assistance in changing the configuration from Twilio to Google Authenticator, please approach Customer Support.
In summary, we highly recommend and encourage customers to complete the transition to Google Authenticator as soon as possible before reaching the enforcement dates.
