FSE Fuji MR23 - Hotfix 4 Release

Scheduled for Oct 25, 07:00 - 08:00 UTC

Scheduled

Dear Click Customer,

This message is to inform you of an upcoming change to your Field Service environment. The change is being implemented for security reasons. It strengthens the way data is displayed and handled in several areas of the product, and it helps protect your organization and its users.

*Important: This change affects mobile touch users only.

Implementation Schedule:
==================
Sandbox environments: October 14
Production environments: October 25

It is recommended that the change be verified in a sandbox environment first. Any issue can then be identified before the change reaches production.

Description of the Change:
==================
The way certain user-entered and record-based content is rendered for mobile touch users is being tightened. The change does not add or remove any functionality. Mobile touch users should see the same information and use the same actions as before. Because the change affects how content is displayed, a brief verification of the following areas is recommended once the change has been applied.

Recommended Verification Steps:
======================
1. Supervisor app – Assignment view: Open the assignment view and confirm that the Customer, Street, City, and Assigned Employee properties are displayed correctly.
2. Comments app
- Open a record that already contains comments, and confirm that the existing comments are displayed correctly.
- Enter several new comments, and confirm that they are displayed correctly after they are saved.
3. Power Map View Tap each type of marker (for example, engineer and assignment). For each marker type, confirm that:
- the info window is displayed correctly, and
- the action buttons in the info window function as expected.

Reporting an Issue:
=============
If any behavior differs from what is expected (for example, missing text, unexpected characters, or an action button that does not respond), please contact Salesforce Support and provide the following:

1. the app and view in which the issue occurred,
2. the record or marker involved,
3. the device and operating system used,
4. a screenshot, if possible

Thank you for your cooperation and your continued trust. Protecting our customers' data remains a top priority, and any questions regarding this update are welcome.

Regards,
Click Support
