Scheduled
Dear Click Customer,

As part of our continuous efforts to enhance the security of your Click Field Service Edge Cloud infrastructure, we will be upgrading our Amazon Web Application Firewall (WAF) to *WAF V2 * on Production for Field Service Edge (FSE) services:

* Reset Password/Wiki services
* Main access and login service
* Push
* Push2Linux

This is a global change and should not cause disruption of the services during the maintenance windows. Please see the ‘what actions do I need to take’ section for more details to mitigate the potential impact.

What is changing?
==============

WAF is a service that monitors the HTTP and HTTPS requests that are forwarded to Application Load Balancer for all FSE Cloud Services. WAF also provides control access to HTTP and HTTPS requests. We will be performing a version upgrade of the WAF services (4.x,6.x,6.x,8.x) to the latest version.

Target Instances:
============

NA Production (PR01, PR02, PR03)
CA Production
EU Production
UK Production
AU Production

When is this changing?
================

The infrastructure change is scheduled on *Production* environment for the following services:

* Reset Password/Wiki services
* Main access and login service
* Push
* Push2Linux

*On Sunday, December 12th, 2021, with the maintenance window period as follows:

* Planned time window:
06:30 AM - 07:30 AM UTC

What to expect?
===========

* No downtime expected - The activity scope is *infrastructure only* - hosted Service Optimization services will be accessible during the maintenance
* The activity will include the WAF web ACL migration from Classic to V2 followed by the sanity testing

What actions do I need to take?
======================

* No specific actions are required from you _during _the time of the maintenance activity
* Given this is an update to the system that blocks potential malicious access to the Click Cloud Services - Click recommends you to test all your common business flows, scheduling tasks, testing that Analytics is working, schedule operations are working, and that any tailored customization and business flow are working as expected at the conclusion of the maintenance window.

Click takes the availability and security of our Cloud Services and its impact to your business seriously as we aim to achieve higher security standards for our infrastructure associated to your instance.
